Nominations for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards got underway Wednesday night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles with a one-hour concert event.

Country singer Mindy McCready and her son were declared missing, Florida authorities confirmed Wednesday. But, later in the afternoon, McCready's publicist released a statement saying she and 5-year-old Zander are "safe, healthy and comfortable."

"The 5-year-old boy has been with his mother for more than 30 days," the statement continued. "Law enforcement officials spoke with the child and saw Zander via Skype yesterday.
